We are delighted to be back for salon and spa services and are currently open for all services! We have worked diligently to prepare The Spa for your return.
We all know that COVID -19 is rapidly changing and so are the rules. Here is what we will be doing to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff:

We have an active sanitation process and checklist in place. We will be sanitizing the styling stations, restrooms, doorknobs, surfaces, etc., in between clients and throughout the day.

We have extended the length of service time by 30 minutes to allow for proper sanitation between each client.

Sneeze guards have been put in place at the front desk, manicure and pedicure stations.

All pedicure tubs are refilled with sanitizer and run through the tub after each guest.

Clean towels, spa robes, cutting gowns and staff smocks will be used for each client and staff.

A new portable HEPA filter is moved throughout the spa during day to freshen and clarify the air. All HVAC filters have been recently replaced as well.

The salon will be disinfected every evening at close.

The seating in the waiting areas has been removed and a sneeze guard has been put in place at the front desk. There are also 6-foot portable room breakers to move between stations and a portable 5-foot shield between the shampoo chairs.

Employees and customers entering the spa will be screened for symptoms, and employees with symptoms will stay home from work. Customers with symptoms will have their appointments rescheduled at least 14 days out. According to Humboldt County, a temperature at or above 100.8 needs to seek medical attention.

Employees and customers must use face coverings during hair cutting and other close contact services. The spa will provide clean face coverings for staff and customers along with other sanitation and hygiene supplies.

Please come to your appointment alone. No additional guests or children.

We have a sanitation station set outside our door and ask that you sanitize your hands before entering the spa.

We will ask that you complete a questionnaire and sign a Client Consent form upon arrival.

We will be working with a limited staff to help maintain social distancing between styling stations.

We will not be offering any beverages at this time so please feel free to bring a beverage with you if you so choose.

Please provide a 48-hour notice if you need to cancel. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment at a later date.

We will all keep our distance, so we are asking that for right now, no hugs, or handshakes or any unnecessary touching.
Our primary goal is to make sure you and our team are safe, and we will do whatever we can to make this work for all of us. We know this is a lot of information. If you have any questions or concerns about anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
In order to avoid a price increase, we have temporarily added a $5.00 Covid Wellness fee for each visit to off-set costs to ensure all safety measures. We appreciate you understanding our increased expenses during this difficult time for all.
